Nestled on Norway’s west coast and surrounded by mountains and fjords, Janus takes the inspiration for products from the rugged nature in which they are made.
Manufactured in Europe
Janusfabrikken carries out the design, knitting and dyeing for all product lines. The sewing and cutting of garments are processes performed by our sister company in Romania.
Expandable capacity
In addition to the main production facilities, Janusfabrikken has
built a strong network of external production partners across NATO
and EU/EEA countries.
These partner facilities provide flexible additional capacity to meet
peak season demands, urgent requirements or surge orders. The
company maintains a readiness to invest in new machinery, ensuring
we can scale production capabilities as needed.

Building on our established position in the Professional/Protective business segment through JanusPRO, we have a proven track record of delivering merino wool undergarments to NATO and European military forces. Janusfabrikken has further strengthened its presence by successfully supplying the Dutch military (KPU) throughout 2023/2024.
